This has been such an exciting first week! I am truly grateful to everyone in the Covenant House family who has made me feel so welcome.

 

I know that Jim would no doubt want us to look forward and focus on planning for the promising future of Covenant House. However, while we are eager to roll up our sleeves, it is only appropriate that we take a moment to reflect on his lasting legacy.

 

Throughout this transition, it has been clearly evident how much Jim has meant to our kids, staff, and supporters. He leaves behind big shoes to fill, but I am deeply honored to continue building upon such a solid foundation.

 

To Jim: thank you so much for your outpouring of unconditional love and dedicated service to Covenant House. You’ve left such an indelible mark, and we are forever grateful to you and your family.

 

To our friends, donors, and partners: I look forward to meeting each of you soon and continuing the work of protecting and loving our kids. They are our most precious gift.
